AMBOY - The Amboy High School Class of 1953 met at the Sunset Inn at noon on Friday, Oct. 8, for their yearly reunion. Fourteen classmates and spouses enjoyed meals and visiting. It was noted that seven classmates had been lost since last meeting.

Those present were-Betty Anderson, Cecil and Shirley (Fleetwood) Harrison of Amboy; Don Kelly, Jim and Janet Montanan, Mary (Shomaker) Stouffer, Mary Rose (Levan) and Joe Kellen of Dixon; Betty (Gascoigne) and Bill Ogan of Clinton, Iowa; Don and Donna Dinges of Sublette; Frances (Morrissey) Carroll of Shorewood. The next reunion will be held on Friday, Oct. 14, 2022.
