Lee County student awarded scholarship

STILLWATER, Okla. – A Lee County student recently was honored by the Oklahoma State University Ferguson College of Agriculture with academic scholarships for the 2022-2023 academic year. The scholarships are part of the more than $1.8 million that students will receive from the college and its academic departments.

Lee County Sheriff’s Office announces distracted driving enforcement results

LEE COUNTY – The Lee County Sheriff’s Office announced it issued 16 handsfree law violations and 11 other citations consisting of Speeding, Failure to Stop, No Insurance, Registration and Suspended Driver’s License offenses during the April distracted driving enforcement period. There was also one warrant arrest and eight traffic warnings for various offenses.

Amboy Lions have a busy April

AMBOY — The month of April started for the Lions with their District 1D Annual Convention held in Rockford, on April 2nd. with Lions Roger Wittenauer and Jim Travi in attendance. The focus for this year’s conference was Organ Donation, the importance of being an organ donor and the Leader Dogs for the Blind program. Attendees received valuable information to bring back to their respective clubs.
