AMBOY — The Amboy Knights of Columbus Council #8277 will host an Euchre Tournament on Sunday, Feb. 9, at St. Joseph’s Hall, 32 N. Jones St., Amboy. Doors open at noon, and the games start at 1 p.m.

Sublette 365 is sponsoring a “Super Bowl Shuffle” fun run on Saturday, Feb. 1. Sign-up is at 1 p.m. at the Ellice Dinges Center. The Super Bowl Shuffle is from 1-4 p.m.

Community donates to PADS

DIXON — For the second consecutive year, Rosalie Koldan and Shirley Guay, owners of Amboy Arts & Antiques located at 231 E. Main Street, Amboy, started a collection for the PADS Women and Children’s Homeless Shelter in Dixon, which ran from Thanksgiving weekend to the Amboy Christmas Walk on Dec. 14.
