AMBOY — The Lee County Farm Bureau is honored to award Eleanor Zimmerlein, LaMoille, with the Distinguished Service Award in recognition for her years of service and contributions to the Lee County Farm Bureau and to agriculture. The Distinguished Service Award was established to honor and recognize an individual or couple who has shown exemplary leadership and service to Farm Bureau, agriculture and farmers in Lee County and beyond.

AMBOY — The Lee County Farm Bureau is honored to award Eleanor Zimmerlein, LaMoille, with the Distinguished Service Award in recognition for her years of service and contributions to the Lee County Farm Bureau and to agriculture. The Distinguished Service Award was established to honor and recognize an individual or couple who has shown exemplary leadership and service to Farm Bureau, agriculture and farmers in Lee County and beyond.    

Over the years, Zimmerlein has served the Farm Bureau in a number of capacities, including service on the Board of Directors, Governmental Affairs Committee, an Illinois Farm Bureau ACTIVATOR Trustee, and has volunteered with several programs and projects over the years.  We are honored to name Eleanor Zimmerlein the recipient of the 2019 Lee County Farm Bureau Distinguished Service Award.
