AMBOY — Bernadine Willstead, of Amboy, and Mark Hittlet, of Dixon, are engaged to be married.
The bride-elect is the daughter of Eileen Lauts, of Amboy, and the late Gene J. Lauts.
Her fiancé is the son of the late Fred and Louise Hittlet, of Dixon.
The bride-elect graduated from Amboy High School and attended Sauk Valley Community College, achieving a marketing certification. She is currently employed at Allied Locke Industries and by the City of Amboy.
Her fiancé is a graduate of Dixon High School and attended Sauk Valley Community College. He is retired from Commonwealth Edison/Exelon.
The couple has a set a Sept. 15, 2018 wedding date at the Lincolnway Bed and Breakfast Inn in Franklin Grove.
