AURORA — William G. Hull, Jr., 84 formerly of Aurora, died at Franklin Grove Living and Rehab on Wednesday Oct. 7, 2020.
He was born Feb. 18, 1936 in Amboy, the son of William and Dorothy (Searls) Hull. William was an Operating Engineer and worked for the IUOE Local 150 for 35 years and also owned and operated Hull CB sales and service shop from 1976 to 1990 in Aurora. He was a member of the Dixon Elks Club, the Pheonix Club in Aurora, and was also a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from 1953 to 1957. William was married to Maryann Schneider.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, his parents, and his sister, Ruth Hull, and a brother, Robert Hull.
William is survived by his children, William (Tammy) Hull III, of Aurora, Cara Jo Hull, of Waterman, Michael (Emily) Hull, of Houston, Texas; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one nephew
Cremation rites have been accorded. Burial of cremains with military honors at Prairie Repose Cemetery at a later date.
