AMBOY — Mr. William “Willy” Dayton Lewis, 64, of Amboy died on Tuesday, May 8, 2018.
He was born in Amboy on Oct. 9, 1953, the son of Dayton and Arlene (Koehler) Lewis.
Willy spent nearly 40 years operating his third generation farm. He was united in marriage to Marcia Hall in 1982.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Marcia; son, Nathan Lewis, of Rochelle; two daughters, Marissa (Trent) Luxton, of Rochelle and Tasha Lewis, of Arlington, Va.; three grandchildren, Lilah, Rhett William, and Hunter; two brothers, John Lewis, of Amboy and James Lewis, of Amboy; two sisters, Carolyn (Roger) Sargent, of Rockford and Marilyn (Richard) Sturgess, of Camp Verde, Ariz.; and close nieces and nephews, Nellie (Mike) Zimmerman, Johnny (Britnae) Lewis, Jacob (Courtney) Lewis, and Ilka Lewis.
A private ceremony will take place at a later date.
