SUBLETTE - Vicki L. DeWitt, 55, of Sublette passed away Dec. 24, 2018 at her home.
Memorial services were held at 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 29 at the Merritt Funeral Home, Mendota with Rev. Mary Bohall officiating. Private burial will be at a later date. Visitation was for two hours prior to the service on Dec. 29.
Vicki was born July 20, 1963 in LaGrange to Tommie and Cynthia (Roeth) Croddy. She married Edward DeWitt on Nov. 28, 1981 in Aurora.
Survivors include her husband of Sublette; two daughters, Stephenie (Brian) Phillips of Utica and Katie (Eric) Sherman of Newport, Tenn.; four brothers, Michael (Liz) Croddy of Colorado Springs, Colo., Jeff (Lori) Croddy of Riverside, Calif., David (Debbie) Croddy of Montgomery and John Croddy of Aurora; and seven grandchildren, Tyler, Riley, Dylan, Logan, Erin, Landon and Kaylee.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her stepfather, Gerald Croddy.
Vicki was a 1981 graduate of East Aurora High School. She worked at Bonnell’s General Store in Sublette and Amboy Veterinarian Clinic. She loved her grandchildren, baking and helping people. She had a witty sense of humor that will be missed.
