ROCHELLE — Susan Jennifer Pickering, 49, of Rochelle, formerly of Dixon, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Rochelle Community Hospital, in Rochelle.
Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m., on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon, with Pastor Blaine Miner of Dixon Church of the Brethren, officiating.
Susan was born May 30, 1968, in Dixon, the daughter of David Kenneth and Beverly Joan (Devers) Pickering, Sr.
She is survived by a very special daughter, Nancy Pickering Hummel; her mother, Beverly Pickering; one brother, David (Cindy) Pickering, Jr; one sister, Kathy (Mark) Chavera, all of Dixon; and four nieces and nephews, Lexie Chavera, Matthew Pickering, Dawn Rhodes, and Jeremey Pickering.
She was preceded in death by her father, David Kenneth Pickering, Sr.
A memorial has been established to Sinnissippi Centers in Dixon.
Arrangements are being completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, in Dixon.
