SUBLETTE — On March 11, 2019 at approximately 4:25 p.m., the Lee County Joint Operations Group, along with deputies and officers from the Lee County Sheriff’s Office and Dixon Police Department, executed a drug search warrant in the 200 block of John Street in Sublette.
The search warrant resulted in locating 29.5 grams of cocaine and 35 Xanax pills inside the residence.
Three subjects were arrested:
1. Hank T. Nickel, age 36 of Sublette for Possession of a Controlled Substance –Class 1 Felony
2. Christopher Donte Moore-Bennett, age 20 of Sublette for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class 4 Felony; Unlawful Delivery of Cannabis (10-30 grams) – Class 4 Felony; Unlawful Possession of Cannabis – Class B Misdemeanor.
3. Antonio DeAndre Simmons, age 18 of Carol Stream for Possession of a Controlled Substance – Class 4 Felony.
The investigation is continuing.
The charges are merely an allegation and all parties are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
