Ready to plant your garden? Take a trip to Pankhurst Memorial Library to pick up some seeds and get started. Now is the time to begin starting seeds indoors so you will have a great garden this summer. University of Illinois Extension Master Gardeners received a donation, from a local business, of seed packets. An old card catalog has been repurposed into a seed library. There is a wide variety of seeds to choose from including unusual vegetables and beautiful flowers. All packets are free of charge. The Master Gardeners hope you enjoy growing some new plants this season. If you have any questions about starting seeds, or your garden, the Master Gardeners are available to answer any questions you might have. You may contact them by calling the University of Illinois Extension office in Amboy at 815 857-3525.
