PETALUMA, Calif. — It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Rosella “Rosie” Mae McCullough, 84 years.
Rosie passed away peacefully on May 8, 2018 in Petaluma, Calif.
She is preceded in death by her loving father and mother, Frank and Blanche Vaessen; her three brothers and four sisters; as well as her son, Timothy and youngest daughter, Mary.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Jim; daughters, Beth and Terri; and her four grandchildren, Jacob, Ellyn, Mary, and Reed.
Born an Illinois farm girl, Rosie lead an impressive career as the head nurse of San Francisco General Hospital all while putting Jim through college and raising four children. She was a loving mother, doting grandmother and popular face in the Petaluma community. Her love to laugh and strong willed spirit will be sorely missed.
Funeral services will be held for Rosie at 2 p.m., on Friday, May 18, 2018, at St. Vincent de Paul’s Catholic Church, Petaluma, Calilf.
