FRANKLIN GROVE — Ronald M. Forristall, 83, of Franklin Grove, and formerly of Amboy died Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2021 at Rock River Hospice and Home in Sterling.
He was born April 27, 1938 in Spring Valley, the son of LeRoy and Evelyn (Fenwick) Forristall.
Ron had worked at the Crossway Restaurant from 1958 to 1996. He enjoyed his time with Krieder Services.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Wayne, Leon, and William "Bill" Forristall.
Ron is survived by sisters in law, Judy Schmidt, of Amboy, Sue Forristall, of Gibson City; and several nieces and nephews and his many friends at Kreider Services.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2021 at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with Pastor Jack Briggs officiating. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center. Visitation will be held from 1 – 2 p.m., on Saturday at the funeral home.
