ROCKFORD — It was over 50 years ago that Rockford Mutual started their fruitful relationship with Leffelman & Associates, Inc., located in the farming community of Sublette.
Leffelman & Associates came to be in 1969 when its founder Larry Leffelman purchased the Roemmich Agency. In 1972 Larry added the Burkhardt Agency, also of Sublette. In 1980 and 1990 two additional agencies from Amboy, The Duffy Agency and The Ortgiesen Agency, were added to the fold.
The Leffelman Agency was built on family from the very beginning. As usual, one generation gives way to the next. With Larry’s retirement, his daughter Christine (Chris) Klein took the reins of the agency. Christine continues to fulfill her father’s legacy by exemplifying the four hallmarks of their business: customer satisfaction, integrity, professionalism and stability.
Rockford Mutual has been a proud partner with the Leffelman Agency since it began in 1969. Respectively, Leffelman and Rockford Mutual have helped each other grow to what they are today. The staff at Leffelman is well respected within all departments at Rockford Mutual.
“Rockford Mutual really is a relationship focused company”, said Christine Klein, “you are one of the last companies that allows us to have a relationship with our underwriters, and that means the world to us.”
It is with great pride that Rockford Mutual announces the Leffelman Agency, the family that knows how to treat your family, as Agency of the Year for 2018.
President and CEO, Kent Shantz, adds “We are proud to have such a committed and service-oriented group of insurance professionals representing Rockford Mutual within their community. This recognition is just a small token of our appreciation for everything Leffleman does for our company every day.”
