Amboy Native Becky Welty has been gracious enough to donate a quilt for a raffle fundraiser with all proceeds to benefit the Amboy Depot Museum Renovation Project. This quilt is named “Through The Attic Window,” its pattern meant to give the illusion of looking out of a window. It depicts looking out a window at a wintry, country scene. It measures 53”X 64” and can be hung or laid on the back of a couch to capture the scene. Quilt batting and fabric are 100 percent cotton. Tickets for this quilt raffle are $2 each or 3 for $5 and can be purchased at Amboy City Hall or from any Depot Commission Member. The quilt will be on display at Amboy City Hall through Friday, Dec. 10, with the drawing for the quilt to be held during the Amboy Christmas Walk on Saturday, Dec. 11. Need not be present to win.
