DIXON — Polly Ann Bufford, 85, of Dixon, died Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017, at Dixon Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Dixon, surrounded by her loving family.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m., until time of services at 2 p.m., on Sunday, Sept. 17, 2017, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon, with the Rev. Jack Smith, pastor of First Baptist Church in Sterling, officiating. Private burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Dixon.
Polly was born April 8, 1932, in Benton, the daughter of William E. and Josie E. (MacDonald) Rogers. She married Aston Bufford Jr. on Nov. 6, 1951, in Benton. He preceded her in death on April 24, 1992. Polly was a member of First Baptist Church in Dixon.
She is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Sue (Allen) Krutsinger, of Dixon; one son, Michael K. (Nadja) Bufford, of Rantoul; two grandchildren, Arianna Krutsinger and Tressa Bufford; and two great-grandchildren, Gabriel McCoy and Lilly Crawford.
Polly was also preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and three sisters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to Ronald McDonald Home and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Arrangements are being completed by Preston-Schilling Funeral Home, Dixon.
