AMBOY — The Amboy High School Music Department participated in the NUIC Conference Honors and Music Festival held at Pearl City High School on Friday, March 16.
The students who are top of their chairs were selected to perform at this concert.
Seven AHS Chorus members were selected to perform. Those students include: Natalia Soto, Gabby Ketchum, Lucas Blake, Mackenzie Ketchum, Adriana Bartosheck, Cameron Simpson and Shannon Simpson.
Nine AHS Band members were selected to perform. Those students include: Alison O’Rourke, Jillian Barnes, Abril Vazquez-Tapia, Kaitlyn Ortgiesen, Clayton Kemp, Jacob Costner, Hope Sachs,
Mason Costner, and Logan Winters.
There were nine conference schools participating in the festival. The students rehearsed all day with guest conductors and then performed a concert together at 6 p.m.
