AMBOY – Nine first-place finishes powered the Amboy-LaMoille boys’ track team to a first-place win over three other teams in a quadrangular meet on May 2 at the AHS track.

The Clippers had two individual wins a pair of events. Robert Brittingham claimed the 100- and 200-meter dashes, while Thomas Stamberger won the 800- and 1600-meter runs. Other individual firsts went to Travis Eames in the 300-meter hurdles, Kyle Hunter in the shot put and Brady Becker in the discus.

A-L also raced to first in the 4x200 and 4x400 relays.
