AMBOY — The 2021 Amboy Christmas Walk will be bringing back the Holiday Trolley, Santa’s Village, horse and wagon rides, musical entertainment and much more.
This year’s event will be held from 4-7 p.m., on Saturday, Dec. 11.
The Christmas Walk committee thanked everyone for their help and participation in the virtual Christmas Walk that was held in 2020, but is pleased to announce that this year they will be returning to an in-person Christmas Walk.
They added that some of changes of having the virtual event brought new life into the Christmas Walk. Because of the response, in addition to the one night event on Dec. 11, there will be a month-long giveaway of local prizes, similar to last year. The committee will place a few drawing boxes out during the month of December in a couple of businesses and have a drawing every Friday. The committee is looking for donations to add to the grand prize basket or the weekly drawings.
The committee said they would love all organizations, businesses, vendors and so forth to participate in this year’s Christmas Walk on Dec. 11. Please contact the committee by email at amboychristmaswalk@yahoo.com.
