DIXON — Michael V. Sutton, 48, of Dixon, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2022.

He was born Feb. 19, 1974, in LaSalle the son of Robert and Patricia (Miller) Sutton.

Mike had worked in manufacturing most recently at Raynor Garage Doors in Dixon. He was a member of Carpenters Local 790. He was a "professional" darts player and enjoyed playing softball, hunting, fishing and was a Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.

He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Scott Sutton, and cousin, Gifford "Bugs" Fordham.

Mike is survived by several cousins, including Larry Fordham, Linda Hess, Suzy Fordham, Jared Fordham, Colby Fordham, Drew Fordham, Amy Hicks, and Tricia Hiebing. Mike is also survived by special friends, including Julie Donovan and Kylie, Brian, Brenda and Bryson Deery, Derek Rapp and Brayden Phalen-Rapp, and Ricky Pertell.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A celebration of life will be held from 5 – 7 p.m., on Thursday, Nov. 17, 2022, at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy. Casual attire, camo or Cubs preferred. A memorial has been established.
