The Amboy American Legion presented a shortened Memorial Day ceremony at Veterans Park on Monday. Mike Hickey of the Amboy American Legion read two short pieces in honor of the occasion. The rifle corp presented the 21 Gun salute. Amboy American Legion Commander Jack Mead raised the American flag from half mast. Avery Shaw and Alison O’Rourke performed Taps.
