AMBOY — Louise E. Massey, 93, of Amboy, died Friday, June 30, 2017, at Aperion Care in Amboy. She was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Keystone, S.D., the daughter of Everett and Reva (Gibson) Goodner.

AMBOY — Louise E. Massey, 93, of Amboy, died Friday, June 30, 2017, at Aperion Care in Amboy. She was born Jan. 18, 1924, in Keystone, S.D., the daughter of Everett and Reva (Gibson) Goodner.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial services will be held at a later date and burial of cremains will be at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. She had worked at Freeman Shoe Company and Allied Locke Industries.
She married Donald Massey Aug. 21, 1942, in St. Louis, Mo. He preceded her in death June 21, 1982. She was also preceded in death by her son, Michael, and a sister, Lorraine.
Survivors include two sons, James (Patrecia) Massey, of Oregon, and Tom (Nancy) Massey, of Macon; one daughter, Bonnie Bonnett, of Amboy; nine grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; daughter in law, Theresa Massey, of Carbondale.
