AMBOY – Melvin Leffelman will celebrate his 90thbirthday with an open house from 1-4 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at St. Patrick Parish Hall, in Amboy.
Melvin was born Nov. 17, 1928, in Maytown. He farmed in the Nelson, Walton and Maytown areas all of his life.
He married Marjorie Ely on Feb. 11, 1950. She has since passed away. They have two children, Dan (Janelle) Leffelman and Julie (Denny, deceased) Brechon. He has three grandchildren, Rachel (Jordan) Plock, and Miranda and Cordell Leffelman; and one great-grandchild, Paisley Plock.
He later married Sue Morrissey, deceased.
Melvin enjoys fishing, flying and golfing. He is a proud veteran and member of the Amboy American Legion Honor Guard.
