LEE COUNTY — Effective Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2019, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office will be open for business at the new address: 240 E. Progress Drive at the south edge of Dixon in the Industrial Park.
This will be for Sheriff’s Office, Patrol, Civil Process and Investigative business only.
The old jail at 122 West Third, will still be operational until the latter part of October. The announcement for the full operation of the Jail at the new location, will be announced at that time.
Public tours are in the process of being scheduled and will take place, once the entire facility is operational.
