LEE COUNTY — Lee County Extension Foundation is holding their famous dessert auction virtually this year.
Jump on this delicious opportunity to have some amazing desserts made for Thanksgiving.
Money raised during this auction goes back to support the Howard Greenfield Memorial Scholarship and Lee County Extension Foundation Scholarship. These scholarships go to two Lee County 4-Hers that show excellent leadership, learning through projects, 4-H achievements, and community service.
A few of the freshly made, delicious desserts include; turtles, thanksgiving sugar cookies, cheesecake, thumb prints, dutch apple pie, chocolate fudge, Carol Vaessen’s famous pecan pie, Gale Barnickel’s melt-in-your-mouth creamy lemon pie, Mary Katherine’s delectable cream puffs, and more.
The auction will begin at 3:30 p.m., CST on Friday, Nov. 20, 2020 and will end at Noon CST on Monday, Nov. 23, 2020. Bids can be made at facebook.com/4hleecounty Freshly made desserts must be picked up Nov. 24 or 25.
