AMBOY — Ethan Larson, son of Mike and Kim Larson, has been named the Amboy High School Student of the Month for December.

GPA:  3.5  /4.0

Memberships and Involvement: National Honors Society, Spanish Honors Society, Academic Team, Leo’s Club, FFA, Outdoor Club, Student Council, Baseball, Football, and the Illinois Army National Guard.

Awards and Honors: Student of the Month for December, Vice-President of Student Council, Spanish Honors Society, and the Northwest Student Council District. 

Best Memories of AHS: My in class debates in APUSH with Nick Tarr.

Future Plans: I plan to first take care of my general education at Sauk Valley Community College and then attend Illinois State University where I plan to study Political Science. It is my hope that I can play a part in local government helping out my community. Eventually, I’d love to live on a ranch somewhere out west and maybe raise a family.
