AMBOY – The Amboy Lady Clippers will host the Amboy Class 1A Regional Softball Tournament at the high school field.
The tournament will begin when LaMoille travels to Hinckley-Big Rock for a play-in game on Monday, May 13. The winner of that game will face top-seeded Ottawa Marquette at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 14 at the AHS field.
The Lady Clippers will see their first action against Indian Creek at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 15.
The Tuesday and Wednesday winners will meet for the regional title at 4:30 p.m. Friday, May 17.
Amboy’s regional champion will advance to the Indian Creek Sectional to face the survivor of the Chicago Hope Academy Regional at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 21. The other sectional contest will be played on Wednesday, May 22 between the Newark and Peru St. Bede regional winners.
