STERLING – The Amboy Lady Clippers will compete in the Sterling Newman Class 1A Regional Softball Tournament to be played May 15, 16, 17, 20.

Amboy will begin action with a play-in game at Henry-Senachwine on Monday, May 15 at 4:30 p.m. The winner of that game will move on to meet Morrison in the semifinals at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 16 in Sterling. The championship game is slated for Saturday, May 20 at 10:30 a.m.

The winner of the Newman Regional will advance to the Peru St. Bede Sectional to face the champion of the Williamsfield Regional on Wednesday, May 24 at 5 p.m. Other teams in the sectional will come from the Kewanee Wethersfield and Sciota West Prairie regionals.
