AMBOY — The Amboy volleyball team fell just short in numerous sets during the week of September 4 as the Lady Clippers suffered three loses.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5, Amboy fell 25-23, 25-22 to Indian Creek at home. 

The Lady Clippers hosted their first conference match of the season against Eastland on Thursday, Sept. 7 but couldn’t get in the win column as they fell 25-20, 25-13.

A road trip was on the schedule for Friday, Sept. 8 as Amboy traveled to Kirkland where they fell to Hiawatha 26-24, 22-15.

During this stretch, the junior varsity defeated Indian Creek 25-19, 25-5, Eastland 25-22, 25-18, and Hiawatha 25-10, 25-10.

The freshman beat Indian Creek 25-12, 27-25, and Eastland 25-19, 25-5.
