AMBOY – Ashton-Franklin Center posted a 17-3 triumph over Amboy in varsity softball action on May 24 at the AHS field.
Amboy led 1-0 after one inning, but AFC scored in every inning thereafter, including pushing seven runs across in the fourth and six more in the sixth.
Madelyn McLaughlin and Gabby Jones each had a single for the Lady Clippers.
Mallory Powers was the losing pitcher.
