AMBOY – The Amboy Lady Clippers made short work of Freeport Aquin, claiming a 10-0 home victory on April 4 in a game halted in the fifth inning by the 10-run rule.

Amboy wasted little time in taking control of the contest as it put five runs on the board in the bottom of the first. The Lady Clippers added another five-spot in the third to complete the scoring.

Kylie Highbarger collected three singles and Shannon Lytle supplied a pair of doubles for the winners. Bailee Highbarger added a single and a double, while Emma Lindenmeyer stroked two singles.
