PECATONICA – The Amboy-LaMoille girls’ track team competed in the Northwest Upstate Illini Conference Meet on May 4 at Pecatonica.

The Lady Clippers placed seventh in the team standings with 39 points. Ten teams participated. Galena was the overall champion with 116 points.

Amboy-LaMoille’s best finish was third place in two events. Bella Yanos was third in the long jump with a measurement of 15-4, while the 4x200-meter relay took third in a time of 1:54.09. Carrying the baton were Jillian Anderson, Stephanie Nave, Lexi Ketchum and Yanos.
