ROCKFORD - Joshua C. Mellott, 27, of Rockford, formerly of Amboy, died Oct. 23, 2017 at Swedish American Hospital in Rockford.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the McDonald Funeral Home in Rock Falls with Pastor Roger Carlson of Berean Baptist Church, Rock Falls officiating. Burial will be at Oak Knoll Memorial Park in Sterling. Visitation will be from 9–10 a.m. on Nov. 4 at the funeral home.
Josh was born Feb. 2, 1990 in Mendota. He was the son of Sherrie Henrichs and Ralph Beauchamp, Sr.
Survivors include his mother, Sherrie (his dad Carl) Henrichs of Amboy; his father, Ralph Beauchamp, Sr. of Dixon; his grandfather, Dale (Marilyn) Mellott of LaSalle; his grandma, Lori Murphy of Dixon; his grandpa, Walter Kant of Amboy; one sister, Jessie Henrichs of Amboy; one brother, Ralphie Beauchamp, Jr. of Dixon; and many special aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Nana, Janet Kant; one aunt, Cindy (Mellott) Davis; his Bubba, Ed Berge; his grandma, Grace and grandpa, John Henrichs; his granny, Virgina, and grandpa, Curtis Sr. Beauchamp; and his uncle, Charles Beauchamp.
Josh graduated from Amboy High School and went to Truman College in Chicago where he majored in art. He enjoyed spending time with family, painting, listening to music, and swimming with his little brother, Ralphie.
