DIXON – Joseph E. Coffey, 65, of Dixon, died Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at KSB Hospital, Dixon.
Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Dixon, followed by an 11:30 a.m. funeral service at the church, with the Rev. David Schweppe, pastor, officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Dixon, at a later date.
Joe was born Aug. 1, 1952, in Dixon, the son of Harold and Roseann (Friel) Coffey. He married Jayne Wiemken on Nov. 9, 1985, in Dixon. She preceded him in death on Oct. 11, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Chad (Michelle) Coffey of Mesa, Ariz., Connor Coffey of Dixon; two daughters, Amber (Jay) Kemp of Dixon, Caley Coffey of Aubrey, Texas; two brothers, Tom (Marilyn) Coffey of Dixon, Bob (Delora) Coffey of Pueblo, Colo.; two sisters, Gerry (Robert) Stevens, Mary (John) Murphy, both of Dixon; and nine grandchildren, Jagger, Dawson, Nolan, Easton, and Sierra Kemp, Presley, Vinnie, Cruz, and Duke Coffey.
Joe was also preceded in death by his parents.
Joe was a very active member and officer of the Dixon Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 779. He worked many years for Walnut Auction Sales, Inc. prior to his retirement.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established.
