DIXON — Iris Winona Osborn, 98, of Dixon, died Thursday, April 6, 2017, at her home. Prior to her retirement she worked at the Green River Ordinance Plant in Amboy, Admirals and Edelmanns in Dixon.
Private graveside services will be at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Dixon, at a later date. There will be no visitation.
Iris was born May 12, 1918, in Buncombe, the daughter of Ernest and Maude (Barnett) Ridenhour. She married Paul Elton Quaco. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 1943. She married Floyd H. Osborn on May 19, 1969. He preceded her in death on Nov. 29, 1986. Iris was a member of Harvest Time Bible Church in Rock Falls.
She is survived by two grandchildren, Timothy (Brenda) Quaco and Sandra DeJesus; five great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Rachel, Emily, Christine, and Josh; and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Iris was also preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Vincent LeRoy Quaco.
A memorial has been established.
