AMBOY — Amboy High School Senior Justin Hart brought home a third place finish in the IHSA Class IA Boys Basketball 3-Point Shooting Contest on Friday, March 9.
On Thursday, March 9, at the Carver Arena, in Peoria, 32 contestants took to the court to compete. Hart shot 10 out of 15 3-Pointers to be one of four to advance to the finals on Friday, March 9.
On Friday, March 9, Hart shot 6 out of 15 to take third place in state.
In the beginning, 848 students started out in the contest and were eliminated as the post season went on.
Hart is going to continue his basketball career at North Central College in Naperville.
