AMBOY — Megan Grady, Amboy High School Class of 2017, is the recipient of the James J. Braida Teacher Scholarship. She is the daughter of Jim and Linda Grady.
This is the 14th year the award has been given. Mr. Braida was a teacher and Amboy High School Principal for 33 years in the Amboy School District, retiring in 1993.
When he was retired for 10 years, in 2003, he and his wife, Marilyn, decided to establish this scholarship to encourage students to become teachers.
