MANLIUS – The Amboy-LaMoille Lady Clippers will participate in the Manlius (Bureau Valley) Class 1A Sectional Track Meet on Thursday, May 11. Field events will start at 4 p.m. and the running events will take place at 6:30 p.m.
Other teams in the event include Ashton (A.-Franklin Center), Fulton (H.S.) [Coop], Granville (Putnam County), Henry (H.-Senachwine) [Coop], Kewanee (Wethersfield) [Coop], Manlius (Bureau Valley), Milledgeville, Morrison, Ohio, Peru (St. Bede), Port Byron (Riverdale), Rock Island (Alleman), Savanna (West Carroll), Shabbona (Indian Creek), Spring Valley (Hall) and Sterling (Newman Central Catholic).
First- and second-place winners in each event, including relay teams, from the sectional will advance to the State Final Meet. In addition, any individual or relay team who equals or surpasses the qualifying standard in the finals for the class they represent in the sectional meet will advance to the State Final Meet in their class.
The State Meet will be May 18-20 at Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
