AMBOY — Gail P. Dunn, 76, of Amboy died on Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022 at Heritage Health in Mendota.

She was born on Nov. 20, 1945 in Champaign, the daughter of Raymond and Iona (Reed) Primmer. Gail graduated from Eastern Illinois University with her Bachelor's Degree, and received her Master's Degree from Northern Illinois University.

Gail worked as the Club House Manager at Shady Oaks Country Club, as a High School Librarian and Yearbook Advisor at the Amboy High School for over 20 years. She was a United Way Volunteer, a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church, Delta Zeta, was active in her children's extracurricular activities and is a huge Chicago Bears Fan.

Gail married Edward Dunn on Dec. 17, 1967 in Mahomet.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Col. Ron Primmer, Ret.

Gail is survived by her husband Ed; children, Brett (Lynn) Dunn, of Lena, Jodine (Scott) Tuman, of Grayslake; three grandchildren, Christian Dunn, Garrett Dunn, Julia Tuman; one brother, Randy (Lani) Primmer of Mahomet; and one sister, Carol Matheson of San Antonio, Texas.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., on Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy. Burial will follow at Prairie Repose Cemetery in Amboy. Visitation will be on Sunday Sept. 18, 2022 from 2 to 6 p.m., at the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy, and also on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m., at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy.

A memorial has been established to the Myasthenia Gravis Foundation of America (myasthenia.org).
