The Amboy Fire Department’s 145th anniversary event offered something for the whole family including: fire station tours, a two-person team bags tournament with cash prizes, adult tricycle races, bouncy house, fire truck rides, mechanical bull, a helicopter display, face painting, butter bean boxing, double shot basketball, a chance to see the department’s newest addition – the Pink Heals truck, a firefighter-only three person bucket brigade challenge, arm wrestling tournament, and firedog hot dog eating contest. Taking the stage was Starlight Dance Studio and the band Snap Shot. (Photos by Tonja Greenfield)
