AMBOY — Ian Eller, son of Tina and Dale Eller, was named Amboy High School November Student of the Month.
GPA: 3.86/4.0
Memberships and Involvement: “I am in three sports; cross country, basketball, and baseball. I am a part of National Honor Society. I am also a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Amboy.”
Awards and Honors: “I am on the highest honor roll at our school, while also receiving Academic all-conference honors in three sports; in those three sports I received a varsity letter every year of high school. Also, I made the Dean’s List at SVCC. I received the award for maintaining perfect attendance for two years.”
Best Memories of AHS: “My best memories of AHS are definitely made during sports. Getting to be around my friends all the time doing something we enjoy is a great feeling and we’ve made a lot of memories.”
Future Plans: “As of right now my plan is to go to a university and pursue a career in teaching. I might also do sports in college but I am not sure about that currently.”
