AMBOY — Donna L. McGuire, 66, of Amboy, died Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Dixon Healthcare. She was born May 17, 1951, in Elmhurst, the daughter of John and Alice (Smallman) Moeller.
Donna had worked as a Secretary, and also was a Waitress for LaFiesta in Sublette, and most recently was a Caregiver doing home care.
She was a member of Greater Life Church in Dixon, and also the Red Hat Society.
Donna married William McGuire in Sublette on Aug. 10, 1996.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her step-son, Josh Bufford; her step-father, Robert Bufford; and her sister, MaryAnne Moeller.
Survivors include her husband; her children, Sherene Norton of St. Petersburg, Fla., Shane Norton, of Amboy, Shane Bufford, of Dixon, Nicole (Jason Griffin) Bufford, of Rock Falls, Samantha McGuire, of Dixon; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Diana (Larry) Eisenberg, of Amboy, Linda (Orin) Bonnell, of Amboy, Judy (Clifton) Judd, of Dixon, and Shirley (Donald) Donoho, of Amboy.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., on Monday, April 23, 2018, in the Mihm-Jones Funeral Home in Amboy with Pastor Steve Young, of the Greater Life Church in Dixon, officiating. Burial will follow in Woodside Cemetery in Lee Center. Visitation will be held from 2 – 5 p.m., on Sunday, April 22, in the funeral home.
