HENDERSON, Nevada — Donna J. Reinhardt, 89, of Henderson, Nevada, formerly of Amboy, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at Henderson Hospital in Henderson, Nevada. She worked for Master Metal Corporation and Carlith Printing for 30 years, prior to her retirement.

Donna was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Rockford, the daughter of William and Ruth (Snyder) Van Stone. She was a licensed pilot, model, and stunt double for Ester Williams in the 1947 Jimmy Durante movie “This Time for Keeps.” Donna enjoyed swimming, bowling, and was an accomplished archer and markswomen. She was a bookkeeper, an office manager, and a former board member at Rolling Meadows State Bank. Donna loved animals, but most of all she was a loving mother, daughter and grandmother.

She is survived by one son, Michael Reinhardt and one daughter-in-law Laurie Reinhardt, of Marina Del Rey, Calif.; one son-in-law, Gennaro “Jim” Spinelli, of Amboy; seven grandchildren, Traci (Spinelli) Colby, Valerie Spinelli, James Spinelli, Toni (Spinelli) Ikens, Kathy (Spinelli) Fordham, Donna (Spinelli) Cook, John Spinelli; 12 great-grandchildren, Keri Spinelli, Taylor Ikens, Savannah Ikens, Parker Colby, Linda Spinelli, Georgie Spinelli, Krystal Fordham, Brennen Cook, Brenleigh Cook, Aden Spinelli, Gavin Spinelli, Roman Spinelli; and two great-great-grandchildern, Brantley Riley, Miles Riley.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; one daughter, Linda (Aden) Spinelli; and one brother, Murrell Van Stone.

Visitation will be from 4 – 7 p.m., on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at Preston-Schilling Funeral Home in Dixon. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the funeral home, with Rev. Jack Briggs, pastor officiating. Burial will be at Lindenwood Cemetery, Lindenwood.
