She married Fred G. Full Oct. 7, 1950 and became a homemaker and mother.  He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 1966.  She married George Fischer on June 29, 1974 and moved back to Lee County.  He preceded her in death on Aug. 24, 1992.  She remained on the farm until moving to Heritage Manor in December 2018. Darlene’s greatest joy were her children and grandchildren and having family get togethers at the farm on Baseline Road in Lee County. She spent many happy years there. She was a true farmer at heart and enjoyed country living.

We would like to extend special thanks to Marty and Scott Bickett and their families for all their assistance in helping mom to stay on the farm in her later years. We also want to extend a heartfelt thanks to all the staff at Heritage Health, Mendota for their excellent and compassionate care in her final days especially Tanya, Missy, Alisha, Elizabeth, Madison and Jennifer also to Andrea her hospice nurse with OSF Healthcare.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Sartino (fiancée Ron Shrack), of Plainfield; son, Fred R. (Christina) Full, of Dixon; three grandsons, Nick (Michelle) Full, Trent Full and Travis Full; two step granddaughters, Sasha (Preston) Lumzy and Kaitlin Welker; five great-grandchildren, Victoria and Alexander Full, Maddox Skinner and Kinsley and Malakai Lumzy; nephew, Geoffrey Faber of Reno, Nevada; and niece, Mary Cosgrove of Denver, Colo.
