STERLING — CGH Medical Center reminds residents that people are ready to get our lives back to normal due to COVID-19, but it is important to build defenses against the virus in the community. It will take all of us working together and getting vaccinated to make that happen.

CGH will be offering a Moderna Vaccine Clinic on Thursday, April 22 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for individuals 18 or older. To sign up, visit www.cghmc.com/vaccine and click on “Click Here to Schedule.”  Once you have scheduled your first dose appointment, CGH Medical Center will contact you via text message or phone call to set up your second dose. Vaccine clinics at CGH Medical Center are now open to anyone who resides or works in the State of Illinois and meets the age requirements. You do not need to be a CGH patient. Please continue to watch www.cghmc.com/vaccine for future vaccine dates.

As COVID cases increase in the Sauk Valley, remember to follow these simple guidelines for the best chance of beating this virus sooner: Wear a mask. Wash your hands often, stay 6 feet from others and avoid crowds and get vaccinated…to protect yourself, your family, your coworkers and your community.
