AMBOY — Mr. and Mrs. Rory Miller, of Amboy, announce the engagement of their daughter, Kelsey Miller, of St. Louis, to Jake Firkins, of St. Louis, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron Firkins, of St. Joseph.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Amboy High School and the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. She is employed by Barnes-Jewish Hospital in labor and delivery in St. Louis.
Her fiancé is a graduate of St. Joseph-Ogden High School and the University of Illinois with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Leadership. He is employed by Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers.
The couple are planning an Aug. 12, 2017 wedding in Champaign.
