AMBOY — Cassidy Corcoran has been named the January Student of the Month at Amboy High School. She is the daughter of Jerome and Tina Corcoran.
GPA: 4.0/4.
Member and involvement: Amboy High School Leo's club, track, cross country
Awards and honors: Honor roll, most valuable runner for cross country, academic all-conference, most valuable sprinter for track.
Best memories of AHS: Getting third place at the state track meet for the 4x4 and being on the podium with my teammates receiving our IHSA state medals.
Future plans: I plan on attending Sauk Valley Community College to continue my career in nursing.
