The Amboy Lions Club provided some manual labor on Thursday morning by cleaning up overgrown brush at Aperion Care. Now that the overgrown brush has been removed, the club members can work on refinishing the fence surrounding the Dimensions of Memory care unit. This area provides a private area for dementia and Alzheimer’s patients. Too much stimuli can be disturbing to the patients. Amboy Lions doing the clean-up are Dennis Marsili, Roger Wittenauer, Jaclyn Kepka, Jim Travi, Curt Harrison and Dave Didier. (Photo by Tonja Greenfield)
