EDGINGTON – The Amboy-LaMoille boys’ track team will participate in the Taylor Ridge (Rockridge) Class 1A Sectional to be held Friday, May 19 at Rockridge High School in Edgington. The field events will start at 4 p.m. and the running events will kick off at 6 p.m.

Other schools in the sectional are Erie [Coop], Forreston [Coop], Fulton (H.S.) [Coop], Lena (L.-Winslow), Manlius (Bureau Valley), Milledgeville [Coop], Morrison, Orion, Pearl City, Port Byron (Riverdale), Rock Island (Alleman), Savanna (West Carroll), Sherrard, Sterling (Newman Central Catholic), Stockton [Coop] and Taylor Ridge (Rockridge).

First- and second-place winners and those who meet or exceed the qualifying standard in each event, including relay teams, will advance to the State final meet.

The IHSA State Meet is scheduled for Thursday, May 25 through Saturday, May 27 at O’Brien Stadium on the campus of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston.
