AMBOY – The Amboy varsity baseball team dropped a 5-1 decision to Eastland on May 5 at Parker Field.

Jairon Hochstatter doubled to open the fifth inning and came around to score Amboy’s only run.

Tucker Lindenmeyer and Brody Christoffersen picked up singles for the Clippers.

Christoffersen pitched all seven innings and took the loss for Amboy. He permitted six hits and struck out five.
