FORRESTON – The Amboy Clippers will participate in the Forreston Class 1A Boys’ Regional Baseball Tournament to be held May 13, 15, 18. Games will be played at Warnken Park.
The tournament begins when LaMoille plays at Ashton-Franklin Center on Monday, May 13.
Two games will take place on Wednesday, May 15 in Forreston. The host Cardinals will battle the LaMoille-AFC winner at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Clippers taking on Kirkland Hiawatha at 7 p.m.
The two Wednesday winners will meet for the regional championship at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 18.
The winner of the Forreston Regional will advance to the Lena-Winslow Sectional to face the champion of the Pearl City Regional at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, May 22. The other sectional game will pit winners of the Dakota and Lanark Eastland regionals.

Monday, May 13
1 – (10) LaMoille [Coop] at (9) Ashton (A.-Franklin Center) – 4:30 p.m.
Wednesday, May 15
2 – (2) Forreston vs. Winner Game 1 – 4:30 p.m.
3 – (4) Amboy vs. (7) Kirkland (Hiawatha) – 7 p.m.
Saturday, May 18
4 – Winner Game 2 vs. Winner Game 3 – 1 p.m.
